BERN’s Privacy & Cookie Policy applies to any member of the research group and/or visitor to the present website.

This page describes BERN’s policies and procedures on the processing of the information that the present website collects.

 

Privacy Policy

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), users are hereby informed that personal data may be processed with automatised tools for the management of this website, within the framework of the institutional objectives of education, research and administration of the activities to which this website refers.

Users may request access to and rectification, or erasure, or restriction of processing of personal data, the exercise of the right to object and the right to data portability (artt. 15-22 GDPR). If the required conditions are met, users has the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante della Privacy, in its capacity as supervisory authority, according to the relevant procedures.

 

Automated processing and storing of data

During the browsing, this website automatically process browsing data (e.g., the IP address) and stores them in the file log of its own server (hosting). The legal basis of automated processing and storing of data is the legitimate interest of the controller to the proper functioning of this website and to provide the service offered and requested by a user. Automated processed are stored from a maximum period of 7 days.

 

Processing of data on the basis of the consent of the users

The voluntary and explicit transmission of required personal data in and/or through the website implies providing consent for processing such data for the purpose of replying to the requests. Website users are hereby informed that the provision of personal data is a requirement necessary to register as attendees of the workshops and the other public events organized in the context of the BERN project.

Registration and request of information through the website may require providing personal data, which include: i) first name and last name; ii) email address.

Following registration to the workshop/public event, perspective attendees will be required to sign a separate form to provide their consent for the recording of sessions and for the taking of pictures, both of which will be uploaded on a third-party website (e.g., YouTube) or on the present website at a later stage.

Personal data that is submitted through or collected by this website is stored electronically in observance of the rights and security measures provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation and used solely for communications relating to the present website.

Personal data will be stored for the entire duration of the Project BERN.

Anyone who has provided their consent to process their personal data and/or submitted their personal data has the right to withdraw such consent and to exercise the rights enshrined in articles 15-22 GDPR. Such requests should be submitted to the following email address: info@bernproject.it.
